07/01/2010 - San Jose, CA (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The San Jose Earthquakes announced Thursday that midfielder Ramon Sanchez and goalkeeper Andrew Weber were released on Wednesday.

Sanchez appeared in 13 matches since signing with the 'Quakes in 2009. He started 11 matches and scored a pair of goals and notched one assist, all of which were registered in 2009. The El Salvador international midfielder played just 83 minutes in 2010, starting once and appearing as a substitute twice.

Weber appeared in two matches last season, picking up his first career MLS win against D.C. United. He had yet to play this season for San Jose.
